I'm going to see Loverboy at Silver Springs in Ocala, Florida on March 20th.
It will be the first time I have seen the guys in concert since 2005, when they were here in New Orleans, at Six Flags, just before Katrina hit the area.

I know it's going to be an especially memorable year for the guys; this year will mark Loverboy's 30th anniversary together. There are very few bands who are still together---much less touring---this long.

If you are a long time Loverboy fan, post any pics, stories or whatever else you might have about the band to this blog.

I just wanted to let everyone know that today, Mike Reno, leadsinger of the band, Loverboy, is 55. If you have the time, hop on over to the band's offical website and wish him a happy birthday.
Or if you live in the Vancouver area, the band will be performing at the Commedore Ballroom tonight and tomorrow night. Give him your birthday wishes then.

Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days, but I have been under the weather, and I have been doing things with my business. Yesterday I was doing a bridal expo in Baton Rouge.

Anyway, I need some ideas as to what to title my newest blog. It is going to be the place where I showcase my writing; I will be posting a couple of excerpts from my first novel, "Playing With Fire" sometime this week.

I guess I could make it a contest, and the winner who has the best title for my blog, I will send them a $25 gift card to Barnes and Noble and a $25 Starbucks gift card as well. How good is that....a good book, and good coffee. It doesn't get any better that that!
