After 25+ years, the powers that be have finally seen the light and decided to give Loverboy their rightful place among the Canadian Music Greats, and induct them into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
Below is a little of the four original members speeches as they accept their award.

I'm going to see Loverboy at Silver Springs in Ocala, Florida on March 20th.
It will be the first time I have seen the guys in concert since 2005, when they were here in New Orleans, at Six Flags, just before Katrina hit the area.
I know it's going to be an especially memorable year for the guys; this year will mark Loverboy's 30th anniversary together. There are very few bands who are still together---much less touring---this long.
If you are a long time Loverboy fan, post any pics, stories or whatever else you might have about the band to this blog.

Leave Happy Birthday wishes for Mike Reno all this month. Then on February 1st, I will choose one person from all the commenters to win a pair of tickets to the Loverboy show in the town closest to where they live.
I have a talk radio show, and I plan on making it interesting, fun, educational and interactive. Stay tuned for the line-up, as well as the date and time the show will be airing.
